Machining Lab, CTB 101: In the Machining Lab, students can use a wide range of equipment for design and manufacturing of projects and ideas.
MODES Lab CB 160: In the MODES Lab, researchers use optical diagnostics and study batteries and renewable fuels.
SMASH Lab CB 152: The Smart Materials and Shock Lab studies tensegrity structures, ultrasound, and shape memory.
Structures Lab CB 207: Dr. Sorenson's research group studies large scale structues including steel frames, and use a 3D concrete printer. Be sure to wear long pants, closed shoes, and bring safety glasses if you have them.
Nuclear Lab: Dr. Memmott's Nuclear Lab uses molten salts to find new and better ways to utilize nuclear power.
